Worship as "Letting Go"

ln writing my book Hollywood Faith, I thought a lot more about how worship "works" in churches. You can find my thoughts a worship in that book, especially about worship as a process of "letting go" (on pages 160-162).

When Calvin College invited me out to guest lecture about my research at the time, I ended up talking about it there. The Calvin Institute of Christian Worship added a page on this in their resource section.
